BPO Journal is a little more than two years old now.
Given the inherent problems with statistics, I am sure you'll be happy to take my word that it's been a good run. To the regulars and oft first-timers who frequent the site everyday, thanks for your comments and feedback.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where
I intended to be.
I am currently a doctoral student in the Information, Risk and Operations Management department at the McCombs School of Business, UT Austin.
My research interests broadly span technology, organization and corporate finance. I am interested in studying the nature of technology-enabled product and process innovations, identifying the managerial capabilities and interventions required of these innovations, and estimating the role of these
capabilities in explaining variation in the long-term financial value of firms.
Outsourcing is an important process innovation that has been the focus of my recent research. I am interested in issues of governance, contract management and compliance, including their role in explaining heterogeneity in the strategic value created by outsourcing initiatives.
